Cornwood win by 19 Runs

The final was another fine game with Cornwood matching their semi-final score, after losing the toss and being inserted, Cooksley was run out but his fellow opener Andy Walter had to retire. Captain Ben Warren was out one short of retirement and Scott Mansfield scored 19. Walter came back to end unbeaten on 31. Andrew Codling took two exceptional catches and a direct run out to cap a fine fielding performance. The West Devon side took the key early wicket of Codling but Richard Pyle (22) and Phil Anning retired put the Park into a good position. However despite the return of Anning Shobrooke Park were all out off the penultimate ball 19 runs short to allow Ben Warren to pick up the cup.

The Sidmouth centre were excellent hosts and the games conscientiously and expertly umpired by Barry Warren and Chris Shelton.
