Tavvy president Stuart Munday (far left) with volunteers at Cricket Force Day
A SUCCESSFUL day was had by Tavistock Cricket Club at their NatWest Cricket Force open day.
With the help of NatWest, cricket clubs are working to improve their facilities with the assistance of volunteers.
At Tavistock the dressing rooms were redecorated and a start was made on a new store to house colts' equipment.
Projects to be completed in 2009 include extensions to the home and away dressing rooms with new shower areas, new toilets, which will include disabled facilities and a complete rewire of the building.
Club president Stuart Munday thanked Jon Holwill of NatWest, who was accompanied by Gill Bellard, Judy Holwill and Lin Meech.
Munday also expressed his thanks to the many volunteers who came along on the day.
Anyone in the Tavistock area who has a little time to spare for either bar, teas or ground work should call Stuart Munday on 07855 848002.
