Trescothick and Co calling in at Abbots on sponsored bike ride

MARCUS Trescothick and other players from Somerset CCC will be stopping off at Abbotskerswell as part of the ‘Pedal For The Pavillion’ appeal.

The event will begin in St Austell and over the course of 5 days will travel to Bath via Plymouth, Exeter and Yeovil before finishing in Taunton.

The stopover at Abbotskerswell CC is scheduled for midday on Tuesday, September 30

The total distance of ‘Pedal For The Pavilion’ is approximately 300 miles and will take in some of the most beautiful scenery of the region.

The Somerset Pavilion Appeal was launched with one aim; to raise funds for a stunning new development, which will take Somerset CCC to the next level both on and off the field. 

All are welcome at Abbots on the 30th September to meet Marcus & the players – light refreshments available from 11am.

Somerset fans living further west in Devon can catch up with the riders at Elfordleigh Golf and Leisure earlier the same day.

The ‘peleton’ will be stopping off for breakfast baps between 8-9.30am.

A number of slots are available to meet the players over breakfast – all free of charge
