Devon 15's
gain revenge for 13's defeat |
Devon gained sweet revenge over Warwickshire for the humbling defeat of the 13's at Malvern the previous week. With a large number of the 13 squad in attendance at Kings it was particularly satisfying for the youngsters. The victory was set up by a fine bowling display led in particular by Jodie Dibble who finished with 5-4 as Warwickshire were dismissed fo just 88. Her new ball partner Rebecca Donohue was also in the wickets claiming 2-19 from her eight overs. The loss of both openers with the score on 14 was a setback, but Amara Carr led the recovery with a patient 19 before Rebecca Piddock made an unbeaten 18 to leave Devon victors by 6 wickets. |
