Devon 118 for 0 in 25.3 overs (Z Bess 59 not out, T Mitcham 48 not out)

DEVON WON BY 10 WICKETS

Despite overnight rain the game started promptly thanks to the hard work and co-operation of the Seaton CC groundstaff. Devon won the toss and not surprisingly chose to bowl first. Gloucestershire lost wickets regularly and  were reduced to 81 for nine before a last-wicket stand enabled them to reach 115 all out in 49.1 overs. Debutants Connor Bryan (3-26), Adam Holmes (2-25) and Will Matthewman (2-11) were the principal wicket-takers. In reply Zak Bess (59no) and Tom Mitcham (48no) made light work of scoring the required runs and reached 118 without loss in 25.2 overs to give Devon a very comfortable victory by 10 wickets.
