Ivybridge and PCSMW Wanderers have become joint champions of this year after both clubs completed their season with one loss each. Ivybridge technically are on top after having defeated their closest rivals in the encounter between the two top sides, but the title is shared. They have also both won through to the cup final with convincing victories over Plympton and Yelverton in the semis.

In the league, Ivybridge had comfortable victories over Cornwood, Antony Bradley scoring 46, overcoming Freddie De Mendonca 32 for a spirited Cornwood side, and a low scoring win over Tavistock. They completed their programme in the gloom on a rainy night to defeat Yelverton and secure joint champions of the league. Wanderers had a togh encounter with rivals Plympton and overcome them thanks to C Sanders individual performance of 47 runs and 4 wickets, despite a very good knock from John Mullin of 51.
