In the CUP, Whitchurch beat Plymstock in a very close quarter final to set up a semi-final with Plympton, which should produce a close game. PCSMW Wanderers have steamrollered into the semis with wins against Tavistock and Nomads, and await the winner. In the other half, Ivybridge and Yelverton have had comfortable wins against Plymouth and Cornwood respectively to fight it out for a place in the final. Plymouth and PCSMW Wanderers remain the only unbeaten sides in the under 13’s league and their meeting on 14th July could be a league decider. Whitchurch and Ivybridge have both lost only once and will be hoping to catch the two top sides with a strong finish. Top batting performances were J Marshall of Plymouth with 75 not out, G Daw of Ivybridge with 74 not out and M Alam of Wanderers with 67 not out. Lewis Gregory of Plympton had earlier just missed out on a hundred, scoring 94 against Cornwood. G Strong of Yelverton and O Macrae of Whitchurch both had 4 wicket hauls.
