Plympton won the toss and decided to ask Ivybridge to bat. With some great bowling from Rebecca Donohue, Ryan Skinner and Josh Outtram, Ivybridge found it hard to get going. In the 5th over Donohue made the break though, bowling N. Lancaster. Two balls later there was a mix up between J. Mailling and H. Solomon after some good fielding and Solomon was run out. Jamie Howourth helped himself to two wickets, including Mailling. Mailling scored a good 33 and was 5th out when the score was on 77. Ivybridge managed to get 80 at the end of their 20 overs. Plympton had a great start with a stand of 41 between Skinner and Rebecca Piddock. Piddock was first out, run out for 17. Skinner was next out for 23 when the score had moved on to 51. Plympton only needing 30 to win off the last 10 overs then started to find it hard work. With some good batting from Josh Outtram (22 not out) Plympton won with 2.2 overs to go.

Plymstock won the toss and batted first in a re-arranged match on a well-prepared track at Cornwood that gave nothing away. The Cornwood bowling attack was wayward from the start, allowing Adam Stevenson and Hallam Kerton to start a clinical demolition of suspect fielding. Kerton (21) eventually gave his wicket away but this allowed Farmer (10) to join Stevenson to continue the good work, Stevenson eventually loosing concentration for a well-deserved 77. Ryan Rickard (2-12) managed to slow the charge all but too late and Plymstock ended with a respectable 122 off their 20 overs. Cornwood soon hit the self-destruct button, unable to build any substantial batting partnerships. A combination of tight fieldwork and sensible bowling from Plymstock stopped any realistic chance of Cornwood reaching the total, with eight batsmen being out ‘caught’. Smith (4-19), Farmer (3-4 off 1.2 overs) and Bailey (2-13) did most of the damage and Plymstock won by an easy 50 runs.
