Tideford won the toss and chose to bat on a drying pitch. With the ball not coming onto the bat batting was difficult and none of the Tideford batsmen got going. The young Lewdown side fielded well and restricted Tideford to 133 for 8. Dan Casey and Dan Snowdon were the pick of the batsmen. Lewdown bowled 23 wides. Batting second the Lewdown batsmen struggled against accurate and measured bowling and despite promising starts from Tom Fogarty and Will Hodgetts were dismissed for 70. The Tideford fielding was excellent with all catches held. Jack Smith's catch to dismiss Will Hodgetts and Ollie Demaine's catch at cover point to dismiss T Penberthy were the pick. Richard Court and Jack Smith were the pick of the bowlers. |

Plymstock won the toss and elected to put Peverell into bat who got off to a quickfire start scoring 95 off the first ten overs. Pasi Mawalage (44) and Harry Barnes (22) scored the bulk of these runs. The Plymstock bowlers kept to their task pegging Peverell back until the 14th over when a rapid innings from Pavi Mawalage containing three sixes stretched the total to 144 for 5. Pavi remained unbeaten on 42 not out. Pick of the Plymstock bowlers was E. Dann (4-1-19-1) In reply Plymstock got off to a steady start with both openers adding valuable contributions Howard Kerton (28) and Rory Coultham who was run out for 29. Peverell bowled and fielded well and Plymstock were unable to meet the required rate and finished on 93 for 9 off 18.1 overs. Their wicketkeeper M Blackmore did not bat following an injury to his hand whilst fielding. All of the Plymouth Peverell bowlers played their part but pick of them was Pasi Mawalage (4 - 0 - 16 – 3). |

Ivybridge won the toss & decided to bat first in their game at Tideford. Runs flowed steadily and Neil Lancaster batted through the innings for an excellent 73 not out in a total of 161 for 5. The pick of the Tideford bowlers was K. Wellington with 2 for 22 off 4 overs. Tideford got off to the worst possible start with Alan Huxtable taking the wicket of A. Shirley in the first ball of their innings. Tideford could not get up to the required run-rate from then on, although K. Watts remained 23 not out. Pick of the Ivy bowlers were Will Fricker with 2 for 5 from 4 overs and Huxtable with 2 for 8 in 3 overs. Tideford innings closed on 86 for 8 with Ivybridge winning by 75 runs. |
