Plympton got off to a steady start with C. Cammaris (13) and Plympton's star batsmen T. Richards (53*). The pick of the Plymouth bowlers being Dom Bryant (4-1-9-0) despite no wickets on this day but a memorable performance in what proved to be a batter’s paradise with Watkins (26) and Walton (10*). Plympton amassed a good total of 117-2 and before Stein passed on the gloves he managed a stumping off the leg spin of Liam Edmonds. Plymouth's reply mirrored Plympton’s with Stein (65*) and Ellis (11) pushing Plymouth towards the winning post. It was left to Dom Bryant (13*)  to clip the winning runs off his pads with three balls to spare 118-2. A nail biter of a game played in a manner credit to both clubs. K. Watts, captain, brought himself back on to remove Callum Cload (20), with his first ball of his 3rd over. From then on Tideford fought back well to leave Plympton Crusaders on 77 for 5 off 15 overs, removing Jacob Anderton (32) who was looking very good. Olly Lindfield did the damage bowling his leg spin, which had the Crusaders middle order in a spin with figures of 3-10. Still needing 21 off 5 overs in came Dalby (7no) and Will Sargent (12no),both Under 11s, with the game poised very nicely. Both teams competed well and only a 51 by Hallan Kerton and 19 from Ollie White pushed Plymstock’s total to of 112 in their 20 overs. Both batsmen were fortunate in being dropped but despite that Whitchurch’s fielding was good & enthusiastic. W. Hall took 3 for 10 runs in 3 overs. Whitchurch started well with Barriball (29) and Alford (20) keeping up with the rate while Plymstock’s bowling became a little ragged.
