CHUDLEIGH and South Devon are involved in a fight to the finish to decide who will go up with champions Plymstock.
South Devon are 12 points clear of Chudleigh in second, so could get away with a draw at Axminster and still go up.
Chudleigh have to win at Barnstaple and hope Axminster can do them a favour.
For South Devon, relegated last year, a season in the B Division has allowed them to regroup. "Promotion at the first attempt would be a good effort as many teams don't manage it," said skipper Dave Knowles, who has hinted he might step down.
"I think many players have found more confidence this year and can take that forward."
Chudleigh captain Jonny Martin is hoping for the best, but is braced for bad news.
"We should have secured enough points by now to go up, but you can look back at four or five games over the season when we under-performed and are paying for it," he said. "We had the best of both games against South Devon but lost twice to Dartington, who are right down at the bottom.
"And Chagford at home, when we couldn't knock off 115, and being rained off against Clyst when everyone else played didn't do us any favours.
"If we're still in this division next year we have to be more consistent."
Thorverton entertain doomed Clyst St George in their final game already looking ahead to next season.
The Thors are destined for a mid-table finish in their first season in the B Division, but have eyes on going up again.
"Realistically we required a season to bring in the younger players and to also bring in a few new faces, which we have achieved," said captain Ali Fury. "We already have our sights on next year and hopefully with a fully-fit team we can push for the A Division."
It's all or nothing for Chagford in the scrap to stay up when they visit Dartington & Totnes. Chagford are 14 points behind D&T and have to get ahead of them to stay up.
Plymstock are looking to finish their B division life in style. With promotion already guaranteed they head to Tavistock in need of four points to confirm themselves as champions.
Bowler Seb Jordan returns to the team and batter Steve Coomber And Ed Lockett step up to boost the middle order.
