MIKE Salter hit a superb century, finally out for 108 and Sean Devine chipped in with an unbeaten 73 as Feniton II posted a healthy 256-4 at Kentisbeare II.

Gary Farley then hit an unbeaten 86 in the Kents’ reply of 184-6. Andrew Rose (2-28) and Kevin Brandon (2-22) were the pick of the visiting bowling.

Rob Mann (3-8) and Ray Clarke (4-3) bundled out hosts Axminster III for a paltry 32, knocked off for the loss of just one wicket by visiting North Devon III with Tom Stanton unbeaten on 15.

There was no play possible at Uplyme and Lyme Regis II where Countess Wear II were the visitors or at Exmouth III who had been due to face Whimple II.
