Final Tables 

THE final week of the Farm Cottage Holidays, North Devon Cricket League saw action in just one of then seven scheduled matches.

The final day cancellations took the matches not played owing to weather in then season over the 100 mark.

That action came in the Division Three game at Instow where North Devon II beat visiting Holsworthy by 69 runs.

It was a fine knock of 65 from Joe Kelly and a maiden half-century, an unbeaten one too, from John Green (59no) together with contributions from Tom Stanton (39) and Bob Heaman (34) led the hosts to 211-4.

Ryan Walter (45) and James Watson (32) then made the biggest individual contributions to the visitors’ cause, the final Holsworthy wicket falling on 142. Fergus O’Donnell was the most successful North Devon bowler with 3-23.

The final roll of honour for the 2011 season reads

Division One: Champions: Bideford; runners-up; North Devon; relegated; Heathcoat.

Division Two: Champions: Barnstaple & Pilton (promoted); runners-up; Beaford (not promoted). Relegated: Shobrooke Park and Morebath.

Division Three: Champions: Halberton; runners-up; Bratton Fleming (promoted) Relegated; Filleigh II and Bude.

Division Four: Champions: Belstone; runners-up; Kelseymen (also promoted). Relegated; North Molton and Victoria Park II

Division Five: Champions: Filleigh III; runners-up; Heathcoat II (also promoted).
