Under-15s show improvement in defeat by Somerset
DEVON U15s didn’t get the win they were looking for against Somerset at Paignton, but the performance was a big improvement on the defeat away to Gloucestershire.
Sam Maunder (64) and Jamie Khan (57) led the way with Tom Lammonby (24), James Bovey (26), Ashley Causey (29) and Jack Gibbs (22) all also contributing to a reasonable total of 253 for seven. But it wasn't going to be enough.
Devon had Somerset eight wickets down - Leon Horn took four for 56 - but couldn't break a match-winning partnership and lost with just two balls to spare.
