Exeter under-15s completed the treble of league, cup and Devon ECB champions after winning a three-way tournament at Bradninch.Exeter and Whimple met in the final having both beaten a young Sandford side (pictured) to get there.
Callum Lefebvre went one better than a hat-trick with four wickets in four balls as Whimple dismissed Sandford to win by 105 runs. He was later named bowler of the day.
Jamie Khan and James Bovey opened up with a half-century partnership of 64 in seven overs.
Khan and Tom Lammonby both fell to Dom Sositha, but Bovey batted confidently and hit nine fours from 31 balls in his retired score of 50 in a team score on 116 for two from 12 overs.
Bovey was picked by the umpires as batter of the tournament.
Exeter were grateful to Charlie Fanous (16) and Ben Sapiecha (13) for the final score of157 for seven in their 20 overs.
Sositha ended with three for 27 in 34 overs. He was supported by Ben Peters (2- 23) and Adam Tompkins (1-18)
Any chance of a Whimple victory evaporated in two overs as Sapiecha (4-12) and Lammonby (2-10) tore through the top order, taking four wickets in nine balls.
Whimple’s last, hope came from all-rounder Matt Parker but he was caught by Mike Cooper (1-8) for nine with the score at 24 for six.
Luke Jefferson (33) and Morgan Tavener took the score to 70 with a 40-run eighth-wicket partnership.
Tavener was last man as Whimple ended closed on 78 all out. Ben Hayes took two for six as Exeter won by 79 runs.

Whimple 137-6 (Adam Tomkins 32, Cameron Phillips 20; Jonty Bell 2-18), Sandford 32 (Callum Lefebvre 5-13). Whimple bt Sandford by 102 runs.
Exeter 200-4 (Monty Crowe 50 ret, Jamie Khan 44, James Bovey 37, Charlie Fanous 30), Sandford 53 (Jem Fawsett 15; Ben Hayes 3-3, Will Silver 3-14). Exeter bt Sandford by 147 runs.
EXETER already had the league title in the bag after beating Budleigh Salterton by 23 runs.
Lammonby made 50 and Bovey 23 in an Exeter score of 129 for eight – a total helped by 37 extras.
There were two wickets each for Sid Feraday (2-5), Devon Short (2-26) and Will Oxland (2-15).
Budleigh were limited to to 106 for four in reply. Max Meisner batted throughout the innings for 29 not out with just one boundary. Tom Oxland hit three fours in his 35.
