PLYMPTON look a bit light in the batting department for the trip to North Devon.
“Not the ideal match for three of our top four being unavailable when playing against one of the better bowling attacks but we will give it our best shot,” said skipper James Carr.
Josh Mailling has university commitments for the next two weeks, Dave Wrench is work and Chris Bunney can't travel as his partner is expecting at any time.
Bunney will stay at home with the 2nd XI.
Plympton are bottom of the table after four games and still looking for their first league wins.
“We are taking a young side up there but the experience will be good for them,” said Carr.
“What I'm looking for is more self belief and confidence from the lads as we've competed but they need to believe we belong in this league and not here to make the numbers up.”
