Devon Cricket Board - Furneral tomorrow for Sidmouth's TV reporter Dean

THE funeral will take place in Sidmouth tomorrow of former television broadcaster Martyn Dean, who died last weekend after a long battle against ill-health.
Dean, originally a newspaper journalist with the Mid-Devon Gazette and the Express & Echo, went on to work for the BBC and ITV.
In recent years Dean reported on football for Sky.
When Dean's work commitments permitted, he was an enthusiastic cricketer, playing mainly for Sidmouth. He kept wicket and was a difficult-to-shift batsman.
Dean's funeral will be held at St Francis Church, Woolbrook, Sidmouth tomorrow at 12.30 pm. He is survived by his wife Mary.
