As the 2012 season looms ever closer it is imperative that you, and others in your position at your club have an up to date CRB form. Those clubs who either are accredited with ClubMark or are working towards itshould already have this issue in their sights. It you have any questions please contact he Devon Cricket Office on the e-mail or telephone number below.
The DCB is aware that a number of people have CRB checks which have expired. As you know these have to be renewed every three years for cricket if people are going to continue in those roles which require vetting checks. If you are not sure if you are up to date then please contact your Club Welfare Officer who can then either see if they have this information or check with Devon Cricket Board staff and volunteers to get this information.
Roles which require a vetting check within cricket:
Welfare Officer (all club/league/county posts)
Coach (whether volunteer or paid, assisting or leading)
Umpire
Scorer
Colts/Junior Managers
Age Group Managers
Open Age Group Team Captains (where players under 18 are regularly in the side)•
Junior Supervisors
First Aiders/Physiotherapists/Medical Support

NOTE: As from July 2010, the latest version of the CRB application form (which is purple in colour, and replaces the white form previously used) has been processed.
