BRIDESTOWE made the perfect start to their C Division campaign with a six-wicket win over local rivals Whitchurch.

The Wayfarers were able to make it to 147 before Khan finished off the innings by taking two wickets in his final over.
Bridestowe stuttered a little early on in their chase, but were able to get home by six most of the runs, with Phil Hatton also contributing 28.

“But with a number of key players returning over the next few weeks from university and injury, there may be a chance of staying nearer the top end of the division.”
