Academy tourists return winners
Devon’s England Academy players return back to the UK tomorrow on the back of some good performances whilst on tour for the past two weeks in Sri Lanka.
Jodie Dibble played a key role in both the T20 matches and the two ODI matches, finishing as one of the leading wicket takers on tour. Amara Carr, despite being hampered by a broken finger which prevented her from keeping and restricted her opportunities in the T20 format, made 46 opening the batting in the 2nd ODI. She added 105 for the 1st wicket with England regular Tammy Beaumont of Kent.
The Academy return to UK having won the ODI series 2-0 and sharing the T20 series 2-2.
