Match report:

North Devon won the toss and decided to bowl on a slightly damp track and outfield. The opening bowlers did an excellent job bowling good line and lengths and after the first 15 overs had pegged the East back to 45-2. Some good middle order batting brought the East back in to the game and with the North taking wickets on a regular basis bowled the East out for 170 with 2 balls left in the innings.

The East’s opening bowlers set about their business and helped by some excellent fielding took two early wickets. The 9^th over proved to be the turning point of the game as three wickets fell in four balls and with some excellent catches being taken the North were 7 down at the end of the 11^th over. An excellent last wicket stand between Liu and Webb got the score up to 41 leaving the East winners by 129 runs.
