East Devon won the toss and batted first,pegged back early by C Hodges (2 for 20) but S Wight with 41 got the home side moving.From 63 from 20 overs ,East accelerated to a total of 212 for 8 with contributions fron F Filor(30) and hard hitting B Green (40) taking the bowling to task.West Devon’s response never got going and from 13 for 3 they were always behind the game.Tight bowling from all East Devon bowlers with W Thompson(2 for 6) and L Crocker (3 for 15) showing good accuracy,the innings petered out with number 9 (M Singh) top scoring on 12.
