Shobrooke are up to fifth in the table, but only trail second-placed Bideford by 13 points. They face a tough game against leaders Tavistock this Saturday.
Skipper Phil Anning said Shobrooke have been working on their game during the week and are starting to see the rewards.
“It was another great bowling and fielding display from the team,” said Anning.
“Catching practice worked as we didn't drop a catch so more this week at nets.
“It was a really good batting display from John James - and you can start to see the confidence coming into the team.
“The whole squad is available this Saturday, which is great as Tavistock are a really good team and we want to see how far we can push them?”
Anning isn’t talking about a promotion push though, preferring to consolidate this year.
“Our target is to finish as high as possible, but also to start bringing through young players into the team, have and play hard, strong cricket,” said Annning.
