Carr, a product of Devon’s EPP has represented Devon from an early age, currently opening the batting and keeping wicket for the senior side, plays her club cricket for Plympton, where she turns out for the Mens 2^nd XI, where she made an immediate impression on debut making an unbeaten 74 against near neighbours Cornwood, in addition to the Ladies side. She has represented ECB previously in Development Tours to Cape Town and Scotland in 2010. Carr was plagued with tendonitis of her shins for much of 2010 and 2011 and has worked extremely hard to recover full fitness and is justifiably very pleased with her selection.
