GIAN Botha top scored and Dan Hardy hit a half century as Bradninch proved too strong for E Division Countess Wear in the East Devon and Exeter section of the The 'Servicemaster Clean' Devon T20 Competition, writes Steve Birley.
Hardy and Botha opened up and the former rifled a 32-ball half-century before being caught for 52, hitting three 6s and three 4s in his innings.
New Zealander Botha stuck around for 77 deliveries hitting a 58-ball 77 that included six 6s and three 4s.
Joe Webb his 21 and Bradninch closed on 176-4. Ross Acton then claimed two wickets in his second over and with Paul Nott also striking early there was no way back for the Exeter side who were bowled out for 55.
Acton finished with three wickets for two runs from 2.3 overs and there were single wickets for Nott, Botha, Chris Acton, Hardy and 2nd XI skipper Bryn Jones.
Bradninch now face Exmouth away with the winners of that set for the area finals day at Heathcoat on Sunday, July 6.
