CRAIG Overton took three wickets and hit 49 not out to hand West Buckland School a convincing win over the Devon Dumplings at the School ground.
Batting first on a rain-affected pitch the Dumplings struggled throughout their innings, limping to 79 for nonne at lunch and being all out soon afterwards for 89.
Exeter batters Callum Still and Steve Easterbrook were the only significant contributors with 23 and 16 respectively. Craig Overton’s three wickets cost just 16 runs.
In the reply, the School found the going just as tough initially and were struggling on 36 for 4 after 13 overs.
Then, as the pitch eased, Overton and Platts-Martin knocked off the remaining runs without further loss, Still bagging three of the four wickets to fall.
