C DIVISION
KINGSBRIDGE are up to fourth in the C Division table thanks to a hefty 110-run win over Ashburton.
Kingsbridge put together a reasonable score of 182 for nine.
James Fletcher (36) and Russ Thomas (30) batted steadily then Bhanu De Silva (23) and Josh Dorey (17) perked things up later.
Steve Harvey (3-32) and son Ashley (2-33) led the wicket takers for Ashburton.
Apart from Tom Durman (24), Ashburton did not get a look in.
Neil Peach (7-28) swung the ball nicely and De Silva (3-11) caused problems with his spinners.
Ashes were skittled out for 72 in an afternoon best forgotten.
Again hampered by unavailable players Ashburton remain without a win this season and are bumping along near the foot of the table.
Rob Baker and Andy Lockyer both his half-centuries as Stoke Gabriel raced to a five-wicket win at Bideford.
Matt Allin (63) and James Ford (25) hoisted 73 for the first wicket, but there was vey little to follow as Lockyer (2-17), Sam Hill (2-45) and Simon Phillips (2-56) did their stuff.
A ninth-wicket stand of 40 between Chris Luxton (23) and Martin Stewart (18no) helped Bideford reach 188 for nine.
Stoke clattered along to 145 without loss as Baker (65) and Lockyer (62) got on with it.
Ford (4-49) had some success for Bideford, but Nathan Kidd and Dave Bolland batted on undefeated to seal the points.
Lewdown march on at the top of the table thanks to a five-wicket win at Ivybridge.
The Bridgers struggled to 29 for three then 56 for seven before Josh Zimmerman (29) and Tim Lancaster (18) teamed up top make 34 for the eighth wicket.
A final total of 110 was never going to bother Lewdown too much, although Jeewan DeSilva (4-11) made sure it wasn’t a cakewalk.
Dave Ball got 29 early on with Mark Jordan (31no) still there at the end.
CLYST Hydon stay second in the C Division after dispatching bottom side Cockington by five wickets.
Dhan Haturusingha took four for 30 as Cockington were bowled out for 123.
George Pawley led the run chase with 46 to leave Clyst tucked in behind Lewdown at the top of the table.
Seaton made the long trip to Hatherleigh for little or nothing as they went down there by six wickets.
Alex Hunt top scored on 39 in a disappointing Seaton total of 141 all out. They were 88 for two then collapsed to 96 for six and despite a stand of 34 between Hunt and Max Hancock (16) there was no way back.
Simon Gillespie (5-29) dominated the bowling returns.
The Hatherleigh reply was anchored around Mark Lake (39no) and Hugh Romans (21). Thirty-five extras helped!
A stand of 68 between Lake and Gillespie (10) for the fourth wicket killed Seaton off.
