D EASTExeter III were forced to settled for a drawn match for the first time this season when they were denied at home by Countess Wear II.
Joel Heatley (70) and Naj Choudhary (65) were the main run scorers in an imposing total of 266-6.

The run chase closed on 184-7 with Greg Newcombe’s 58 and an unbeaten 27 from Craig Aggott the stand-out contributions, Jit Singh claimed 3-43.
Despite not winning Exeter edged further ahead as Feniton II were unable to make 245-4 a winning score in their East Devon derby at Whimple.
Josh Cann followed his Father Brian’s example at Knowle Cross! When Feniton’s 1st XI met Whimple in a D Division game back in May Cann senior stroked his way to 111.
Fourteen-year-old Josh emulated that with an unbeaten 102, his first senior century.
Skipper Francis Pyle chipped in with an unbeaten 46 – the pair adding 110 for the unbroken fifth wicket.
John Bardot struck an unbeaten 90 for the hosts who took the reply to 195-4 at stumps.
Kentisbeare II sit joint second in the table 26 points short of the leaders after they bagged a maximum following North Devon III being unable to raise an eleven again.
That’s the second time this season against Kentisbeare that the Instow based side have not been able to raise an eleven.
Uplyme and Lyme Regis could only muster eight players for the trip to Upottery II and were predictably beaten by a big margin.
However, they put plenty into the contest with a pair of 13-year-olds making headlines for them.
Batting first, Eddie Clarke (39) and Henry Perry (29), had given the eight a decent enough start before Tyler Wellman and Reece Davies were united at the wicket.
The schoolboys then proceeded to dispatch the ball to all parts and added107 for the unbroken third wicket allowing their side to close on 212-2.
Davies walked off with an unbeaten 69 whilst young Wellman was not out 45.
It was all fairly straight forward for the home batsmen to score the runs given the gaps in the 8-man outfield.
Mike Arscott helped himself to an unbeaten 113 and Nigel Wyatt hit 57 – the pair putting on 206 for the opening wicket.
Axminster II beat visiting Exmouth III by 149 runs.
