The Devon Cricket Disability Cricket Association are looking for a coach for the next 12months.

The association are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about working with all types of disabled cricketers and helping them to reach their full potential. You will be a team player with excellent organisational and communication skills. Someone who can pay attention to detail but also see the bigger-picture. Above all you will be committed to developing disability cricket and making a difference.

Job Description

The role of a Disability Team Cricket Coach is to deliver high quality coaching sessions to the Devon Cricket Disabled Cricket Team, helping to run and organise training sessions plus attending matches with the team.

Job Specification

To be considered for the role you will need to have the following:

Knowledge and Experience:

· Experience of working the a wide range of cricketing abilities
· Have the ability to deliver high quality sessions
· Have a knowledge and understanding of the different types of disability
· Have a knowledge of health and safety
· Strive to deliver high levels of performance at all times
· Excellent communication skills with children and adults
· Be well organised

Qualifications:

· ECB/UKCC2 qualified cricket coach
· CRB/DBS clearance
· Cricket coaching experience
· First Aid qualification
· Safeguarding children workshop
· A member of the ECBCA
