No play at Exeter on day one
THERE was no play at Exeter today (Sunday) in the game between Devon and Dorset.Despite the best efforts of groundsman Andy Ellett and his assistants to mop up, the rain would not stop.
The game is Devon’s first on the County Ground for more than 25 years so it was a huge disappointment not to get play under way.
Play can start at 10.30am on Monday and continue for an additional half hour in the evening to make up some of the lost time.
