THE Devon Dumplings returned to winning ways with a huge 181-run win over Old Honitonians at Bradninch.
Exeter’s Cameron Grainger anchored the Dumplings with a well-fashioned 103 not out.
Rapid contributions came from Keith Barlow with 59 and Chris Kelmere with 52 not out as the Dumplings declared at 311 for five.
The best bowling for the OHs came from Sidmouth skipper Will Murray with three for 85; Phil Tuck went for 113 in claiming his two wickets off 18 overs.
The Old Honitonians’ chase started steadily with six batsmen getting into double figures. Only Murray (31) managed to make more than 20.
A late collapse was prompted by a hat-trick by Kelmere - it should have been four in four, but for a dropped catch at the wicket - and the Old Boys were skittled for a meagre 130.
Jack Richardson took four for 54 and Kelmere’s three wickets cost 16 runs.
