SEATON II moved 40 points clear at the top of the E Division East 2nd XI table with a 51-run win at home to Cullompton II. Reed Maudsley (40), Chris Aplin (23) and Chris Tucker (23) chipped in to lead Seaton to 161-9.
Paul Tippler took 3-49 for Cully and then top scored with 20 as the Mid Devon men were bowled out for 110. Seaton skipper Ian Hunt claimed a brace of wickets as did Pete Lawson but the main wicket taker was Rob Gibson (3-32).
Kilmington II were 212-run winners at home to Topsham St James II.
Les Baker hit a superb unbeaten 124 and put on 141 for the opening wicket with skipper Ash Cook (66).
The hosts closed on 277-6 and then bowled the visitors out for just 65 with Charlie Potter (4-30), Maurice Bevis (2-15), Steve Morris (2-11) and Dave Lavender (1-8) claiming wickets.
