HONITON will have two new captains next season following a couple of resignations at their annual meeting.
Despite seeing the 1st XI to safety when they looked doomed last season, Adam Holmes decided that it wasn't the right time for him carry on with the job full time and stood down.
Holmes stepped into the breach after the season started when Kev Kelly handed in his notice.
The committee and members extended their thanks to Holmes for his efforts.
The job of running the side next season falls to all-rounder Rob Ingram, who will look to keep the side in the division and hopefully get them playing to their potential and challenging next season.
Tom Strawbridge also decided to step down from the running on the 2nd X1 having spent most of last year playing for the first team.
Strawbridge felt someone else should take the reins to be fair the team.
The job now falls to Kieran Conway who is looking forward to running the side as they prepare for life back in D East.
“I'm excited by the challenge and look forward to taking the team forward and continuing to bring through some of the promising youngsters we have at the club,” said Conway.
There were no significant changes to the club committee.
