Khaliq commits to Chudleigh again
CHUDLEIGH have re-signed Belgian international Faisal Khaliq for the season ahead.
Khaliq took 33 wickets for Chudleigh last season, but was unable to save the 1st XI from relegation out of the A Division with Abbotskerswell.
He will be Chudleigh’s overseas player this summer as the club attempt to bounce straight back into the A Division.
In addition to playing for Belgium since the UK season ended, he has been having trials with Northamptonshire.
Ed Foreman, who is continuing as skipper, said other signings are in the pipeline, but added: “Nothing is confirmed yet.”
Pre-season nets start on March 1 at Teignmouth Community College between 10am-noon. New players welcome.
