Devon Cricket Board - MCC win anniversary game at third attempt!

BETTER late than never! Two years after the game should have been played to mark the club's 150th anniversary, Chudleigh finally got to play the MCC.
MCC sent a team to Kate Brook in 1959 to celebrate 100 years of cricket in Chudleigh and offered to replay the fixture 50 years later.
Rain prevented any play in 2009 - and when MCC returned last year the same thing happened.
It really was a case of third time lucky, although there were showers to be dodged to get the game finished. The result? An MCC win by 82 runs
after they made 172 then bowled Chudleigh out for 90 in reply.
