HOLDERS Stoke Gabriel have been drawn away to Torquay 2nd XI in the first round of this season’s Aaron Printers Narracott Cup competition.
Stoke, who defeated Dartington & Totnes in last season’s final, will be at home to Cockington in the second round should they clear the first hurdle.
The draw, made earlier this week by competition sponsor Marcel Massey of Aaron Printers in Newton Abbot, gave beaten 2011 finalists Dartington & Totnes a bye in round one.
Dartington will be at home in round two to either Paignton or Barton 2nd XIs.
New boys Shaldon – they have replaced Brixham for 2012 – go to Ipplepen in round one.
The full draw (dates in brackets) is: First round - Torquay v Stoke Gabriel (May 10); Ipplepen v Shaldon (May 10), Babbacombe v Bovey Tracey (May 17), Paignton v Barton (May 17).
Second round - Kingskerswell v Abbotskerswell (May 31); Torquay or Stoke Gabriel v Cockington (May 31), Babbacombe or Bovey Tracey v Ipplepen or Shaldon (June 7), Dartington & Totnes v Paignton or Barton (June 7).
Semi finals – Kingskerswell or Abbotskerswell v Dartington & Totnes or Paignton or Barton. Torquay or Stoke Gabriel or Cockington v Babbacombe or Bovey Tracey or Ipplepen or Shaldon.
Semi-finals - June 21 & 28 at venues to be confirmed.
Final: July 13 at Torquay Recreation Ground.
