IPPLEPEN Cricket Club are again throwing open their doors to all members of the local community as their annual “Open Night” on Friday, April 19 marks the start of another season at Moor Road.Everything kicks off from 6pm with cricket activities for all ages on the outfield, while club coaches and officials will be on hand to meet parents, potential new members and volunteers.
Players of all ages can complete their membership forms for the season, while the bar will be open and barbecue lit.
Then from 7.30pm there will be a family race night with all the thrills and spills of a day at the races including ‘tote’ betting kiosk and prizes for winning ‘owners’ and ‘jockeys’.
Anyone with an interest in joining Ipplepen CC is very welcome to attend, including new comers and beginners of all ages.
The club are running four senior and seven junior league teams this season as well as several more teams offering friendly and festival cricket.
