Jay Foster of sponsors Lang and Co with Plymouth CC's Andy Sewell and a shirt bearing the company's logo
PLYMOUTH have a new sponsor to go with their all-new facilities at Mount Wise.
For city-based property sales and lettings agents Lang and Co have become Plymouth CC's headline sponsor for the next two years.
After decades of upheaval Plymouth will open a spectacular new pavilion and community facility in time for the new Devon Premier League season on May 5,
Lang and Co have signed up to become the city club's new shirt sponsor as this landmark season approaches.
It has taken the city club three years to get the funding in place for the £350,000 project to finally reach fruition at the Mount Wise ground, which was regarded as the finest in Plymouth during its heyday and was a venue for county matches up to 2001.
Jay Foster, Lang and Co's managing director and a cricket enthusiast said he is delighted to see the former United Services & Mount CC's ground returning to its former glory.
"The ground used to be the premier cricket venue in Plymouth and Lang and Co are absolutely delighted to be able support Plymouth Cricket Club in what is a very exciting new era for the club," said Foster
"What has been achieved by the cricket club is nothing short of remarkable and we hope that our support will help the club to continue to make progress both on and off the pitch."

The city side - 155 years old this summer and still going strong - moved from Peverell Park to the former United Services ground on the opposite side of town in 2010.
The 80-year old pavilion at Mount Wise was showing signs of its age and has been rebuilt as part of the £350,000 refurbishment programme at the ground.
Most of the money needed has already been raised, but a final £20,000 is needed to finish the job.
The club hopes to raise the final funds needed by encouraging individuals, groups and businesses in Plymouth to take part in their 'Buy-a-Brick' scheme.
Each brick costs £50 and names of buyers will be displayed in the completed clubhouse.
