JOSH Bess (below) and Liam Lewis both hit centuries to put Sidmouth on course for a hefty 153-run win over Cornwood.
The openers put on 222 towards a total of 248 for four, then Dan Babula took four for 31 and Will Murray three for 25 as Cornwood were skittled out for 95.
Sidmouth sit top of the table by five points from Plymouth, who won by three wickets at Sandford.
Laundre Van Wyk top scored for Sandford with 61 not out from just 24 balls in a 41-over tally of 158 for three.
Plymouth weren't entirely comfortable on the chase at 86 for six, but Harry Stephenson's 43 not out saw them through.
Heathcoat came crashing down to earth after their opening day win over champions Exmouth when they lost by 80 runs at Exeter.
Andrew Curtis played the anchorman role with an unbeaten 85 as Exeter amassed 201 for four in 33 rain-reduced overs.
Along the way there were stands of 73 with Will Steward (46) and 81 with Sean Morris (49).
Heathcoat struggled against the pace of Joe Barrs early on and lost wickets at regular intervals.
Ben Pitkin clubbed a bright and breezy 41 not out late on - too late to make a difference as Heathcoat closed well adrift on 121 for eight.
Exmouth bounced back from that defeat by Heathcoat with an 87-run win over Bovey Tracey.
Seb Benton clattered 104 off 87 balls with nine fours and three sixes as Exmouth reached 215 all out.
Bovey were unable to keep up with the clock and only Mark Lake (31) and Andy Fairbairn (36) got past 20 in a modest total of 128 for nine.
Gary Chappell picked up three for 21.
