BUDLEIGH Salterton ran into the Cockwill couisins at Hatherleigh and paid a hefty price.
Neil Murrin (21) was the only Budleigh batter to get very far as brothers Ian (4-9) and Lee Cockwill (3-26) shot the Seasiders out for 77.
Rob Cockwill then hit 322 and Steve Stacey 26no) as Hatherleigh raced to victory in 18 overs.
North Devon fell short on the chase against Exeter at Instow and settled for a draw with their last pair at the crase.
Harri Kumar clattered 104 for Exeter, who reached 213 for nine in their 50 overs. Matt Williamson (30) and Graham White (25) chipped in.
Tim Cook (4-56) and Matt Dart (3-71) were the leading wicket takers – and had a role to play with the bat as well.
Warren Miller hit 80 to get North Devon up to 188 for six, them perished to Jack Richardson (3-36) and the chase was discontinued.
Cook and Dart pushed back the last seven balls to take a respectable draw at 198 for nine.
Exeter stay second in the table, but lost ground on leaders Plymouth, who were made to work hard for a three-wicket win over Bovey Tracey.
James Fulner (42) and Lewis Hammett (23) were Bovey’s best batters in a total of 154 all out.
Plymouth slipped to 90 for six in reply – James Mason (3-54) and Jack Thomas (2-27) - but the combined efforts of Harry Kandampully (43), Keith Barlow (31) and Ben Stein (21) got them over the line.
Plymouth are 18 points clear at the top while Exeter are 29 up on third-placed North Devon.
Sidmouth moved up a place to fourth on the back of a 56-run win over Plympton.
Form batter Matt Hewer helped himself to 58 and with Greg Chaplin (21) and Will Sobczak (21) chipping in Sidmouth reached 175 all out.
Former Devon pace bowler Keith Donohue took four for 35 and Jamie Pfeiffer three for 50.
Plympton struggled once Neil Tremayne (21) and Lee Mundell (23) were dispatched and slumped to 119 all out Mark Jasper (3-52) and Charlie Miles (4-43) were the bowlers who did the damage.
Paignton’s relegation worries deepened as they dipped to a 54-run defeat away to previously winless Cornwood.
The Corns have some experience in the side – ex-Devon pair Duncan Boase (25) and Dave Tall (30) – but it was former Stoke Gabriel soccer player Scott Mansfield who top scored on 47 in a total of 162 for eight.
Matt Skeemer (6-28) and Eliot Staddon (3-27) then shot Paignton out for 108, Once Jason Woodcock (37) went the last five Paignton wickets tumbled for just 20 runs.
