THORVERTON picked up the expected victory at bottom side Stoke Gabriel, who never looked like knocking off 213 win.
George Greed (55) and Paul Fielder (42) gave Thors a 112-run start, Dave Baldock added 24 as Thors reached 212 for nine.
Jimmy Attwood took four for 41 and Jack Tolley two for 41.
Stoke were all out for 121 in reply with Sam Parker (22) just pipping Doug Ansley (21) as top scorer. Attwood made 19.
Jakc Choules had three for 30 and there were two wickets each for Gwillam Crouch and Dan Beatty,
It’s Ivybridge next for Thorverton, whose skipper Graham White was satisfied with a job well done at Stoke Gabriel.
“There was a green tinge on top of a hard deck so batting was never easy,” said White.
“Then we did our work with the ball well enough.”
