Fancy a round with Suppiah?

 

FANCY a round of golf with a Somerset cricketer playing on one of the best courses in the South West?

As part of Somerset cricketer Arul Suppiah’s benefit year a celebrity/amateur competition is taking place at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club on Tuesday, March 12.

Entries are invited from teams of three amateurs who will be joined by a member of the Somerset squad for a four-ball 18-hole stableford.

The entry fee of £225 per team includes coffee and bacon roll on arrival, 18 holes of golf on the championship course at Dartmouth, followed by a two-course hot-meal.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. In addition there will be some individual hole prizes and a separate putting competition running through the day.

The club have offered a special rate for overnight accommodation to anyone taking part in this event.

Proceeds from the event will be divided between the Arul Suppiah Benefit Fund and the Children’s Hospice South West.

Places are limited, and teams will be accepted on a first-time, first-served basis.
