| Devon won the toss and chose to bat on a good hard pitch in a very pleasant ground amidst the hills of Stellenbosch. Accurate bowling by Boland U15s - in particular their captain T Schoor (fast) and L Philander (spin), each taking 3 wickets. For Devon Seb Ansley made the biggest contribution with 25. but without the help of 37 extras Devon's score would have been very low. In the field, Devon did their best to counter the heat and a fine opening partnership of 71. In the end, Boldan were too good and ran out worthy winners by 8 wickets |
