Tim Western – High Performance Manager

Tim was appointed the Devon Lions High Performance Manager in December 2011 to deliver the high performance programme (HPP) for talented players between the ages of 17 and 21. He is Coach to the Devon Lions development team which plays a series of competitive matches against County Academies and MCC Universities.

Tim is a qualified ECB level 3 coach and a very experienced and successful Devon Premier League player with Torquay CC. He is ideally placed to help young players develop into the potential county players of the future. Tim played at every level of Devon youth cricket from 11 to 19, represented the West of England and won a place on the MCC School of Merit at aged 16

Joel Murphy- Member of the Lions Coaching Team

Joel Murphy is a former Australian Grade cricketer, and highly successful Devon Premier League all-rounder and captain of Budleigh Salterton CC. Joel is the Lions Bowling Coach.

Nick Rowe – Lions Strength and Conditioning Coach

Nick is a strength and conditioning coach who qualified at Plymouth University. He is from Exeter and played for the County at U17 and U19 level. He spent a year working at Somerset CCC and his impact with the Lions has been immediately apparent.
